Back to the Drawing Board!
So . . . we’ve changed the software on this site so that I am not intimidated by it. Also so I can post stories behind passwords so only invited/allowed people can see them. You are not required to create an account unless you are one of my designated story readers (you can do that by either asking me or being one of my writing buddies).
Obviously, this is still under construction. Comments should hopefully show up without moderation, although we’ve already had a little trouble with the origin of the poster (my hubby, Signal9, is having issues commenting, even though he set this site up. It’s ironic, but still kind of irritating. We’re not sure what’s doing that yet).
Anyway, I hope I can start using this on a more regular basis. It will be hard to leave my LiveJournal account, but it will still be open for friends-only posts and various stuff.
I think that’s all for now. I will post more in this category as I think about it, and as I feel you, my two readers, need to know it.
Enjoy!

Glad to see you’ve finally got a space of your own. Hopefully it turns out to be everything you want it to be. Maybe one day I’ll get off my lazy a… umm, butt, and write something for my own use.
Cheers,

Comments should show up without prior approval now. We shall see…

Old habits die hard, I’ll have to get used to checking this site now too. What does sum mean? multiply or add? I can’t remember…

Add. You must be getting it right, because your posts are showing up.

“Sum”? Am I missing something?
Maybe I’ll log out to see what it looks like from the outside . . .

Aha! Okay. Anti-bot measures. Got it!

Yeah. Makes sure to keep bots out in addition to people of limited intelligence.

It’s the computer’s fault you know–a person doesn’t have to be able to add and subtract on their own anymore. That’s what Excel is for. And the funny little greek character that means add these numbers together for me….

Believe me Mrs. C. That wasn’t meant as a quip against you (although looking back, it does look like I could have meant it that way). You are quite obviously able to post and so do not fall into that category.

I truly didn’t take offense at your comment, but it did remind me how little I have to do “real math” these days–I let the computer do it for me most times.

Ack, delete that last comment… I did my little arrow pointy thing and of course it interpreted it as HTML code and didn’t display any of the rest of my post.
Truthfully, I’m too tired to repost it, so I think I’ll pack it up. I don’t feel like playing anymore.

Jeez. I could post about who really killed Kennedy and not get this many replies.
February 25th, 2006 at 10:50 pm
Well, I think most everyone here is still buzzing about the novelty. If there were a *ahem* new post then we wouldn’t have to keep replying to the same one.
I’m looking forward to hearing about Kennedy in one of your future posts.
