Pathetic Bachelorette Food
I am neither a bachelorette, nor is this food.
(There is no question that I am pathetic.)

I’ve been eating left over chicken vegetable soup that, I’m proud to say, I made myself, from scratch, without a recipe. It’s very good, but I wanted something more substantial for dinner tonight. SO, I dug around my freezer.
My dinner tonight (I really should have stuck with the chicken veggie soup):
-Freezer-burned beef ravioli tossed with olive oil and parmesan cheese.
-Steamed frozen veggies (sugar peas in the pod, baby carrots, and baby corn — yay for starch and beta kerotene!)
No pictures, because it’s sad enough without documentation. The ravioli is pretty good. But the carrots . . . they taste like lipstick.
At least I have nummy cinnamon pretzels for dessert. My brother also left his cookie dough here, so if I REALLY wanted to, I could make cookies. I suppose that can make up for a crappy dinner.

We usually eat by 5:00 or 5:30–give us a call to check out what we’re having. You are always welcome and you’re not that far away. Should be done with dinner in time for you to enjoy your evening activiites.
