More Verizon Drama

Apparently, the person who helped me reverse the extra charges from March in order to credit my bill accidentally charged when he should have credited the access fees. I was double-charged last month, but the totals were a few cents off each other, so I couldn’t tell that’s what it actually was.

After calling Verizon, they figured out it was a double charge, and will be crediting my account — after I pay the full amount they charged me, plus this month’s because I waited to see my next statement. But, golly, they’ll waive the $5 late fee.

So, I’m still out $200+, but I won’t have to pay that much on next month’s bill. Or the bill after that. Hopefully, I get a couple “free” months out of this.

Next up . . . another call to USAA to get my payment plan back in the works for insurance, even though I’ll be selling the Subaru before the bill comes due. At least, that’s the hope. I can’t pay the whole 6 month premium at once — not after that Verizon bill.

Sometimes it seems like you just avert one financial “crisis” when another one pops up to take its place… Wouldn’t even one month or two of everything being correct be super? You hang in there, it’ll eventually all be fixed.
